… p.s., I really need to start blogging MORE often, VERY often..

anyway..

I was just reflecting tonight, if we don’t take time to evaluate where we were, and how far we’ve come, we miss out on realizing how wonderful god is..

Increase.. it just sticks to me.. a year ago..I was chasing women, lusting, drinking, cussing, and just overall having such a negative viewpoint on life in general..

WOW… god is amazing, and has transformed SO MUCH OF IT ALL.  When I accepted him into my life, I really did become a new being, I just am so thankful everyday to be awoken, and given another opportunity to pick up the broken pieces of my past, and jigsaw them back together, but in a different sense..

Not that I’m broken, but my past, is one that I’m constantly transforming.. to form my future, .. It molded who I was, and I’m going back to remodel who I was.  So  that I can keep striving in the many things god has to offer for me, and the body of christ.

Praise be to god, for giving me strength in weakness, …

women, addiction, insecurity,faith.. yep, that covers the bases .. he’s given me strength,

I can’t believe how amazing it was.. to be praying for my mother, constantly, at every possible prayer circle.. in my private times, in my private desperation plee’s before the lord our father,

I can’t being to describe HOW AMAZING that it was, to see my mother come to church with me on my birthday (as a birthday present) .. and HOW amazing it was  for her to return with me this past saturday..

And ohhh, even now I’m getting pretty choked up.. yep.. bring on the water-works..

(p.s., if you’re unfamiliar with me, I’m not a guy afraid to share emotions, we all have them, i’m not going to pretend to be this dense caveman cold as ice..)

When I saw my mother’s hand raised.. to rededicate her life to christ.. this immense explosion of emotion, relief, grace, and PEACE in my heart and my soul.. and just so so so much  faith in god,.. how feeble was my mind to think it to be impossible, to doubt his possible outcomes, the lord our god is so mighty.. so great,  so amazing.. thank you father, for saving my mother’s soul, for uplifting her, and cleansing her spirit, lord I just pray you continue to nuture her soul.. and please if you know my mother, keep her in her prayers.. (strength, clarity,peace, and the ability to believe, in spite of what happens in the circumstances of life)

okay, wow, I spent a lot of time just now… to recap the day..

church was amazing.. i’m such a man, it takes 3 services for the message to fully sink in. however.. I went to the mall afterwards, tried on clothes I’m not able to afford, .. and did a mini “fear factor” test at lindt chocolate (triangle town).. I ate a 99% cocoa content DARK chocolate bar (closest thing  to dirt.. in bar form) out of a dare (with incentive), I accomplished this feat, .. and got 27$ of free chocolate out of it.. which got me thinking..

Sometimes we just have to grit our teeth, and strive out of any situation, no matter if it leaves a bitter taste in our mouth.., even when things aren’t as pleasureful as they maybe were at one point and time, I find it amazing to  realize through the struggle, there is reward… and.. increase.
